Tier 2: Standard Remote Coaching

This tier is for non-competitive training and general fitness. Programming is individualized to the clients needs and includes daily feedback and video review. Standard remote coaching clients can train for a diverse array of health and fitness goals and for general lifestyle improvement, without the more stringent standards of Advanced Coaching. Standard Remote Coaching clients are allowed to upgrade to Advanced Remote Coaching at any time.

Tier 1: Advanced Remote Coaching

This tier is for powerlifters who intend on competing to the highest degree in the sport. Programming is individualized to the athletes needs and includes daily feedback and video review. Advanced Remote Coaching athletes are held to a higher standard and are expected to put their best effort forward in training, on the platform, and in our coach-athlete relationship. This tier also includes access to bookable in-person and video call block reviews. Meet day handling costs for any meet within 1 hours driving distance of Minneapolis, Minnesota are also included.

Why Choose Me As Your Coach?

Formal Education:

My educational background includes a B.S. in Kinesiology with a minor in Neuroscience from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, in addition to experience with the Men’s and Women’s Gopher Hockey Strength and Conditioning. I have over a decade of powerlifting, bodybuilding, and sports performance knowledge, and continue to provide the most up to date tools information to implement.

Coaching Achievements:

Over my career as a powerlifting coach, I have coached over 100 lifters, ranging from total beginners to national champions. My lifters have accumulated over 130 state level records, 4 national records, and 3 medal positions at a national level or higher.

Personal Achievements:

Since 2017, I have competed in 15 sanctioned powerlifting meets, 6 of which were at the national level or higher. 
In 2018, I founded Gopher Barbell, the University of Minnesota’s powerlifting club. The club has consistently participated 
in local and national level competitions since its founding.
